Prevention of tooth decay

It is never too early to start caring for teeth. Dr. Edward P Savidge at Admiralty Dental Center knows how important fluoride is in preventing cavities. Fluoride can be found in water, but if it is not available there, supplements are advised. Fluoride treatments at the dentist should begin when adult teeth first come in. Regular dental visits should begin for children no later than 18 months of age.
